Clinton O Casey

A native Idahoan who loves fishing, hunting and the outdoor beauty of the gem state, Clint earned his B.S. in 1986 from the University of Idaho and his J.D. in 1990 from the University of San Francisco. Clint has represented companies big and small in litigation for over 29 years and he is peer rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can achieve.

Clint is a member of the Idaho State Bar (1991), the California State Bar (1990, inactive), the American Inns of Court No. 130, the Defense Research Institute, the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Idaho and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Clint enjoyed 29 years of  practice with Cantrill Skinner Lewis Casey & Sorensen before establishing Casey Legal Group in 2020.

His practice focuses on litigation and preventing litigation for businesses, and individuals, primarily in tort, personal injury, construction defect, crop loss/agricultural cases, product liability and insurance defense. He also has a thriving workers’ compensation defense practice.

For the past 20 years, Clint has donated his time representing Guardians in child protection cases for CASA and, with his wife, Carolyn, also supports Faces of Hope, Building Hope Today, The Women & Children’s Alliance and Wassmuth Center for Human Rights and Idaho Charitable Women’s Foundation.

Clint has been happily married to the love of his life for over 30 years and has a daughter he delights in. On weekends while not enjoying tennis, golf or the outdoors, Clint is cheering on his boyhood teams, in good times and in bad: the Warriors, the Giants and the 49ers.
